Confession time: I have an obsession with unique products.
Whether it’s tiny house living or multipurpose furniture and appliances, I love finding creative products that meet a specific need, or are unique space savers.
So, I rounded up 12 different products that meet multiple needs or are quirky fun multipurpose space savers!!
Okay. Seriously, what’s not to love about this cute breakfast station. It’s even a cute color! I’m saving this idea for my tiny house living some day.
Obviously, I love having a minimalist kitchen. So how great is this multipurpose strainer and cutting board? Space saver, AND easy to wash.
A lot of people are working from home these days. So how do you combine a home office with minimalism or tiny living? That’s what makes this wall desk so awesome! I’m adding it to my “someday in my own home” list…
I love having people over to my house, whether it’s for dinner or for the weekend. I also love small cozy houses. It’s an awkward conundrum. How do you fit company in a small house? With strategic furniture like this! Chair during the day, fold out bed at night!
See number 4 for the reason why I love futons. I’m shopping for the perfect futon right now. This one is looking pretty good to me…
No matter if you have a minimalist amount of toys or not, there is always the matter of storage. I love the whole out of sight out idea for toys. Right now, my house has lots of cupboards which make it easy to put everything away. (If I were to actually do that….) But, I love the idea of this ottoman that doubles as storage space. Perfect for trailer living!
Seating for meals is always a tricky matter in a small home. And if you’re in a tiny space you may need more counter space for cooking. (I still haven’t figured out how I manage to use every inch of counter space when I’m cooking dinner…) I love this little island that has a collapsible counter and stool storage space! I’m not sure I love the wheels on it, but I imagine you could just take those off.
This hanging table and foldable stools is so quaint. It looks like the perfect little breakfast nook or something that would be easy to add to skoolie living. I’m curious about it’s durability though, and whether it can hold more than two tea cups…
My mom has a murphy bed in her guest room, and it’s the coolest thing. I remember being a kid and seeing a murphy bed for the first time and thinking that it was somehow magical- not much has changed. I still think they’re the best thing ever.
If I were to iron my clothes more than once a year, I would think this was the nifty contraption. Maybe some day I’ll iron my clothes….But not today.
I adore my kitchen aid. It’s one of my most used kitchen tools. They are seriously life savers. If you use them. I’ve found that either you use it all the time, or it’s practically a counter ornament. If you cook 90% of your food at home, this thing will get used. If you do more meal prepping and eating out, you probably won’t use it a ton.
Along with the kitchen aid, you can get these extra attachments. Back to what I was saying earlier, if you cook a bunch at home, these will be time saving tools. It will also save space in the rest of your kitchen by keeping you from having to buy other appliances.
Do you have the same obsession with quirky products as I do???
